Guitar Lessons
I have over 15 years experience teaching guitar, both privately and in schools. I am based in South Northants and I offer in person guitar lessons in the Brackley and Buckingham area. I also offer online guitar lessons via Zoom, Skype, Google Meets etc, all set up with great audio and video quality.
My lessons are all highly tailored to the individual student and what they want to achieve. I am happy teaching any style or genre and all ability levels are welcome. My lessons generally focus on developing musical understanding through playing the music you love, however I also have experience teaching Trinity and Rockschool grading syllabuses if desired. I am also fully DBS checked.

Jimmy about a year ago. He is incredibly encouraging and his lessons
have really made me feel an improvement in my skill level. Jimmy always
asks what I want to get out of the lessons (whether I want to learn a
new song, or focus on some technical skills etc...) and this keeps it
fun and makes me feel like I'm working towards something I'm genuinely
interested in. He is also great at recommending material and exercises
that target my weaker areas. He is very patient and encouraging, even

Jimmy has taught my son for over two years. In this time his encouraging and inspirational teaching has turned a struggling Grade 1 guitarist (who kind of liked it but not much) into passing his Grade 5 and playing for hours every single day. My son has got the guitar bug because of Jimmy and is progressing so fast and loving the tricky challenges he is given. Jimmy quickly worked out which style best suited my son and helped him develop into a confident guitarist. Jimmy goes above and beyond to ensure the best for his students.
